Its understandable that you removed the legacy “Vocal Remover” effect. I’m sure it will make new / casual users less confused since they probably think, “Why does a “vocal reduction” effect even exist if one can fully “remove” them?”. Grandpa knows everything if he doesn’t know vintage shirt

The problems for audio products with Catalina are not limited to open source software. The last time I looked (a couple of days ago), the list of audio products recommending “don’t update to Catalina yet”, included. Good to know, because I use some Native Instruments plugins IN Audacity. Audacity didn’t work properly on Mojave beta, High Sierra beta, or Sierra beta, but in those case Apple fixed the problems in the release versions. Audacity is developed by a very small team of volunteers. Contributions from experienced C++ developers are very welcome. Could you please let me know when the Audacity will be updated to Version 2.3.3 from Version 2.3.2 to work with Catalina as the microphone recording option isn’t working at the moment. We still don’t know at this stage whether or not we will ever be able to have Audacity supported under Catalina.
